No harmful substance found in Yerevan university after evacuation
No harmful substance has been found in the campus of the Armenian State University of Economics following the evacuation of its students and lecturers, the Ministry of Emergency Situations says.
Students were reported to feel sick due to a strange smell in the university campus located at 77 Paruyr Sevak Street on Tuesday morning.
"Air samples were taken on site: the measuring devices did not reveal anything hazardous. At the moment, no strange odors can be smelled at the site," the ministry reported.
Before rescuers arrived at the scene, some 400 students and 35 lecturers had been evacuated from the campus.
