Political analyst: Azerbaijan interfering in Iran's domestic affairs
Armenian political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan says the Azerbaijani leader's latest statement on Iran amounts to an interference in the country’s domestic affairs.
"Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that they would do everything to protect ‘the way of life of Azerbaijanis living in Iran, the secular vector of development of Azerbaijan’,” he wrote on Telegram on Friday.
“This is an outright interference in Iran’s internal affairs. Let's see how Iran would react to it,” the analyst said.
