MP Eduard Aghajanyan, the head of Armenia’s parliamentary delegation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), addressed the autumn meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly on Friday.

In his speech, the deputy called attention to the Azerbaijani invasion of sovereign Armenian territory starting from 12 May 2021.

“Since then, there have been three major military attacks by Azerbaijan, the latest being in mid-September this year, as a result of which their troops occupied about 180 square kilometers territory of Armenia,” the MP said.

“I would have preferred to use this platform to engage in constructive dialogue with the delegation from Azerbaijan, but unfortunately, they still do not genuinely share our peace agenda. Therefore, we will make sure that our international colleagues from the OSCE are duly informed about the actual situation in South Caucasus, expecting adequate reactions to the blatant acts of aggression by Azerbaijan,” Aghajanyan noted.
