Top U.S. diplomat, Azeri leader discuss Yerevan-Baku normalization
U.S. State Department’s Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations Philip Reeker met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Baku on Monday, TASS reported, citing the Azerbaijani presidential office.
“The sides exchanged views on the meeting of the foreign ministers held in Washington regarding the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and negotiations on a peace treaty,” it said.
The meeting of Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov took place in Washington on November 7.
