Dutch ambassador visits Armenia's Jermuk
Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia Nico Schermers has visited the Armenian spa town of Jermuk to familiarize himself with the current situation following the latest Azerbaijani aggression.
The town in Armenia’s Vayots Dzor Province came under Azerbaijani shelling on 13-14 September.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Schermers said he was accompanied by his colleague from the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jetske Mariato, during the Jermuk trip.
“Happy to be back in Jermuk, this time with Dutch MFA colleague Jetske Maria to be informed about the current situation in the region. Great to meet so many positive and peace minded people in such difficult circumstances,” the envoy tweeted.
