Media reports of Mirzoyan's 'trilateral meeting' with Turkish, Azeri FMs exaggerated, spox says
Armenia's Foreign Ministry called the Azerbaijani media reports that Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a “trilateral meeting” with his Azerbaijani and Turkish counterparts in Poland “exaggerated”.
Mirzoyan is on a working visit to Łódź, Poland to attend the 29th OSCE Ministerial Council.
“The ‘trilateral meeting’ of Armenian Foreign Mister Mirzoyan with the Turkish and Azerbaijani FMs can equally be considered as quadrilateral, at some point five-sided and then trilateral in another format, etc.,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman, Vahan Hunanyan, said in a statement.
“The photo shows the Armenian, Austrian FMs, the EU High Commissioner, the Turkish and Azerbaijani FMs holding a brief courtesy conversation before the opening ceremony of the OSCE Ministerial Council. The Azerbaijani media reports on a trilateral meeting are exaggerated,” he noted, sharing photos.
