The general prosecutor instructed to reimpose Interpol notice on Mikayel Minasyan no matter what
According to the sources of Panorama.am in the prosecutor's office, General Prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan instructed the prosecutors and investigators, leading the criminal investigations against Mikayel Minasyan, the former ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See and the son-in-law of the third president of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, to reimpose Interpol notice on Minasyan no matter what.
According to the same source, as a result of not finding any solution to cancel or appeal decision of the Interpol's commission on taking down Minasyan's notice, the employees of the Prosecutor's Office and the investigative body decided to charge Minasyan with new criminal indictments and send it to Interpol through the National Central Bureau of Armeian police, demanding a new notice on Minasyan.
Let's remind that few months ago according to the news spread in the media the commission of the Interpol decided to take down the notice on Mikayel Minasyan submitted by Armenian authorities. This fact caused intense anger among Nikol Pashinyan and the ruling circle, and the order was given to initiate criminal proceedings against the officials culpable of this failure.
Our sources in the prosecutor's office claims that after being appointed as the Prosecutor General, Anna Vardapetyan will do everything to prove her loyalty to prime minister Pashinyan and to justify his trust, especially in this case, and will do everything to get a new notice by Interpol against Mikayel Minasyan, Pashinyan' s harsh political opponent .
