Lavrov: Russia interested in peace deal between Armenia, Azerbaijan
Russia is interested in securing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov in Moscow on Monday, TASS reported.
"We are interested in promoting the unblocking of transport links, delimitation of the border, signing of a peace treaty and strengthening of confidence-building measures, including contacts between civil society organizations, political analysts and parliamentarians," he said.
