Armenian opposition votes against draft state budget for 2023
The pro-government majority in the Armenian National Assembly approved the draft state budget for 2023 at a session on Thursday.
All 66 MPs of the ruling Civil Contract party in attendance of the session backed the bill.
Lawmakers representing the two opposition Hayastan and Pativ Unem factions voted against the document.
The parliament also passed a number of other draft laws calling for changes to Armenia’s Tax Code, local self-government bodies, public education, medical care and services, passport rules, etc.
