MP: Azerbaijan attempts fresh provocation on Armenia-Artsakh road
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction says the Azerbaijanis have attempted fresh provocation on the Lachin corridor connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia.
A group of Azerbaijani “journalists” again attempted to block the road section near the town of Shushi under the jurisdiction of the Russian peacekeeping force for "broadcasts" on Saturday.
“A group of Azerbaijani “journalists”, who are actually agents of special services, attempted another provocation on the Armenia-Artsakh road near Shushi,” the deputy wrote on Facebook, adding they engaged in a scuffle with Russian peacekeepers.
“Russian peacekeepers prevented the Azerbaijani show in time and removed them from the road passing near Shushi,” Abrahamyan said.
A similar incident was reported last week.
