Armenian MP: Azerbaijan clearing the way for eviction of Armenians from Artsakh
Azerbaijan is paving the way for the eviction of Armenians from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), opposition Pativ Unem bloc MP Tigran Abrahamyan says, referring to the Azerbaijani blockade of the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the gas supply cutoff.
"Azerbaijan seeks to create a difficult situation in which the Armenian authorities will start persuading people that it is better to accept the Azerbaijani ultimatums,” he said in a social media post.
“However, in fact, the fulfillment of the demands set out by Azerbaijan will not lead to peace. Azerbaijan is just clearing the way for the eviction of Armenians from Artsakh and the establishment of its full control over it,” the MP stated.
