Armenian Medical Association joins protest in support of Artsakh
The Armenian Medical Association has announced plans to join a protest against the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in the Armenian capital on Saturday evening.
The protest of doctors is scheduled to kick off outside the UN Office in Yerevan at 7pm.
In a statement on Facebook, the Medical Association urged all health workers to join the protest.
Since Monday, 120,000 Armenians in Artsakh have been held under siege as Azerbaijan has blocked the humanitarian Lachin corridor, Artsakh’s only link to Armenia and the outside world.
