'Myopic counterattack': Lawyer comments on Azeri complaint against Armenia
Azerbaijan has lodged an interstate complaint against Armenia with the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), lawyer Robert Hayrapetyan says.
“The complaint says that the official Yerevan is responsible for "the destruction of hundreds of Azerbaijani properties" in Lachin and surrounding villages in May-August 2022,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
“Incidentally, the deadline for Azerbaijan's response to Armenia's request to the ECHR to indicate interim measures against Baku and oblige it to unblock the Lachin corridor expires today. Meanwhile, the myopic "counterattack" remains the only aimless card of Azerbaijani lawyers,” Hayrapetyan said.
