Greek Armenians protest Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh
A protest against the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) was held outside the Council of Europe headquarters in Athens, Greece on December 21.
The protest was organized by the Armenian National Committee of Greece and the ARF Youth Union, the ARF press office reported.
They urged European organizations to make efforts to reopen the Berdzor (Lachin) corridor, the only road linking Artsakh to Armenia blocked by Azerbaijan since December 12, as well as to set up mechanisms to prevent Azerbaijan’s genocidal actions against the indigenous Armenian people of Artsakh.
The protesters handed over a letter unveiling their demands to the Council of Europe delegation.
