Azeri 'eco-activist' identified as embassy counsellor
One of the Azerbaijani “environmental activists”, who have blocked the sole road connecting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia since December 12, has been identified as a counsellor to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova.
“Leyla Orujova, a counsellor to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Moldova, has joined the Azerbaijani ‘eco-activists’,” Alen Ghulyan, an Artsakh resident, wrote on Facebook, sharing her photos and a video where she could be seen with a group of protesters.
“Orujova has close ties with Moldova’s former infamous ombudsperson Aurelia Grigoriou,” he added.
Earlier, the Tatoyan Foundation revealed that those leading the Azerbaijani "eco-activists" were members of government-funded organizations.
