President: Artsakh people stand firm on their land
The current and former presidents of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Arayik Harutyunyan, Bako Sahakyan and Arkady Ghukasyan, as well as other senior official attended Sunday’s massive rally in the capital Stepanakert.
Thousands of people rallied in Stepanakert’s Renaissance Square on December 25 to demand that Azerbaijan unblock the sole road connecting Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.
"The Artsakh people stand strong and unshaken on their land. Their struggle is righteous,” Harutyunyan, the incumbent Artsakh president, wrote on Facebook, sharing protest photos.
