10 children in intensive care in Artsakh hospital amid Azeri blockade
Scheduled surgeries remain suspended in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) hospitals to save medicine amid the Azerbaijani blockade of the only road connecting Artsakh to Armenia, the country’s Ministry of Health reported on Friday.
10 children are currently in intensive care in the Arevik Medical Center.
11 patients, including 5 critically ill, are in the resuscitation unit of the Republican Medical Center. The doctors are doing their utmost to stabilize the condition of the patients, the ministry said.
“The Artsakh Republic Ministry of Health is taking all possible measures to cope with the situation resulting from the blockade,” it added.
