Putin sends New Year greetings to Pashinyan
Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on New Year and Christmas holidays.
“Accept my heartfelt New Year and Christmas congratulations. The passing year was a jubilee year for Russia and Armenia: we marked the 30th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations and the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance," Putin said in the message.
"It is important that during your official visit we succeeded in stipulating the bilateral allied strategic direction, outline further steps for development of collegial partnership in various directions, including in the EEU, CSTO and CIS formats. I expect to continue our dialogue and joint constructive work around relevant issues of the bilateral and regional agenda. I sincerely with you robust health, welfare and good luck, and to the brotherly people of Armenia peace and prosperity,” reads the message.
