Drivers in Armenia urged to use exclusively winter tyres
Some roads are closed in Armenia as of Thursday morning, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
In particular, the roads linking Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is open to all traffic.
The emergencies ministry urges drivers to use exclusively winter tyres.
