Armenia placed 94th in Global Firepower ranking
Armenia is ranked 94th in Global Firepower’s 2023 Military Strength Ranking released on Friday.
A total of 145 countries are considered for the annual GFP review.
The finalized Global Firepower ranking utilizes over 60 individual factors to determine a given nation's PowerIndex ('PwrIndx') score with categories ranging from quantity of military units and financial standing to logistical capabilities and geography.
Armenia holds a PwrIndx score of 1.9137 (a score of 0.0000 is considered 'perfect').
According to the ranking, the world’s top three strongest armies are the U.S., Russia and China.
Among Armenia’s neighbors, Iran is placed 17th, Azerbaijan 57th and Georgia 85th in the 2023 ranking.
