Georgian PM congratulates Armenians on Christmas
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has congratulated Armenians on the Holy Nativity (Christmas) and Epiphany of Jesus Christ.
The premier acknowledged that centuries of friendship and good neighbourliness between Georgians and Armenians were rooted in mutual respect, the Georgian media reported.
“I want to congratulate our fellow citizens and Armenian brothers and sisters, as well as everyone else who celebrates Christmas and Epiphany with joy and festivity,” he said.
“Mutual respect and compassion between our people paved the way for centuries-old friendship and good neighbourliness. I’m delighted that our friendship is deepening with time. I wish you good health, happiness, and prosperity,” Garibashvili stated.
