Azerbaijani forces open fire at Artsakh farmer
Azerbaijani troops opened fire at an Armenian civilian carrying out agricultural work in the village of Hatsi in Artsakh’s (Nagorno-Karabakh) Martuni region on Friday afternoon.
The man, identified as I. Abrahamyan, told the local police that several rounds of shots were fired towards him from nearby Azerbaijani combat positions while he was working on a field with a tractor at around 1pm.
The farmer was not hurt in the shooting, but agricultural work had to be stopped, the police said.
Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh were informed about the incident, it added.
