Two killed, others wounded in Armenia road accident
Two people were killed, while two others were wounded in a road traffic accident in Armenia’s Ararat Province last night.
The accident happened on the Vedi-Lanjar highway shortly after midnight on Monday. A Mercedes-Benz car slipped off the road and rolled into a ravine, the Ministry of Emergency Situations said, adding it dispatched one fire and rescue squad to the scene.
The driver and one of the passengers were killed in the accident. Two more passengers were injured and taken to the Ararat Medical Center.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
