Armenian FM meets with EU technical assessment team
Armenia's Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan on Monday held a meeting with members of the EU technical assessment team.
The team has visited Armenia to consider the possibility of deploying a new EU civilian mission to the country, the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed the activity of the EU monitoring mission which was completed on December 19, 2022.
“In this context, FM Mirzoyan highly appreciated the role of the monitoring mission in strengthening stability in the region and preventing new aggressions against Armenia, as well as expressed readiness to continue cooperation,” the ministry said.
Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
The head of the EU delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin, also attended the meeting.
