The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated the transfer of three severely ill patients from Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) to Armenia amid the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade, the Artsakh Ministry of Health reported.
The patients were taken to specialized hospitals in Armenia on Tuesday, escorted by an ICRC team, the ministry said in a statement.
Scheduled surgeries remain suspended in Artsakh’s hospitals due to the blockade which started back on 12 December.
