Zartonk Party condemns police pressure on ARF members
The Zartonk National Christian Party condemns the pressure exerted by the Armenian authorities on the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) members.
“It is no longer a secret that the law enforcement agencies have become a tool in the hands of the current authorities to suppress and neutralize individuals and political units protecting national interests,” the party said in a statement on Thursday.
“It is obvious that these authorities are targeting and "beheading" all those forces that can create any obstacle on the way to the implementation of the pan-Turkish plan,” it added.
Law enforcement officers raided the homes of a number of ARF members in Ararat Province and Yerevan early on Wednesday morning and detained some of them.
