Rescue Service warns drivers about closed roads in Armenia
Armenia's Rescue Service has issued a warning to drivers over closed roads in the country as of Thursday morning.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
Drivers are urged to use winter tires.
