Russia shocked by attack on Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran – Foreign Ministry
Russia is shocked by an attack on Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Tehran where a security staffer was killed, TASS reported, citing Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova.
"We are shocked by yet another attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy during which a security employee was killed," she wrote on her Telegram channel on Friday.
The diplomat also expressed condolences and support to her Azerbaijani colleagues.
The armed attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy was committed in Tehran on Friday, The head of security services was killed and his two colleagues were wounded in the incident.
