Schools reopen in Artsakh
Classes resumed in all pre-schools, primary and secondary schools in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) on Monday following a 10-day hiatus amid the ongoing Azerbaijani blockade, the Artsakh Public TV reported.
However, no food is currently provided to children at pre-schools which are open from 9am to 1pm, the report said.
All 118 schools in Artsakh were shut down on January 18 due to the gas and electricity supply disruptions by Azerbaijan, depriving almost 20,000 children of their right to education.
