Three dead, two injured in single-car crash in Armenia
Three people were killed, while two others were injured in a tragic single-car crash in Armenia last night.
The crash took place on the Ijevan-Yerevan highway shortly after midnight on Tuesday.
The Rescue Service said the accident involved a Mercedes-Benz C-Class car, which ran off the road and rolled into a nearby field. The vehicle caught fire after the crash, the Rescue Service said.
The 21-year-old driver of the car and its two passengers, both aged 26, were pronounced dead on the scene. Their bodies were found by rescuers 10 meters away from the car.
The two other passengers, both 26 years old, were taken to hospital.
