Armenian MP: Unpredictability of regional situation adds to the danger
MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction warned of increasing tensions in the South Caucasus region which may lead to unpredictable developments.
“The unpredictability of the current situation in the region also adds to the danger,” he wrote on Facebook on Friday.
The MP cited the bitter confrontation between Russia and the West, developments around Iran and unsettled Artsakh-Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.
“Amid these dangerous processes, it is difficult to make concrete forecasts about the unfolding of regional developments in the medium, let alone the long-term run. One thing is clear: tensions are increasing dynamically, causing new problems,” Abrahamyan stated.
