Armenian FM reportedly buys luxury villa near Yerevan
Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan bought a luxury villa in Kasakh, a village near the capital Yerevan, late last year, CivilNet has revealed.
“Ararat Mirzoyan and his spouse Gohar Abajyan purchased the house for 112 million drams (around $280,000) in December 2022,” the media outlet said.
The villa is located in the village of Kasakh in Armenia’s Kotayk Province and is in close proximity to the Davtashen administrative district in Yerevan.
According to the documents seen by CivilNet, the total area of the land is 951 square meters, while the house is 288 square meters. It also has a garage of 61 square meters and an adjacent structure of 81 square meters.
“Upon visiting the site, it became clear that the construction of the house and its courtyard had not yet been completed. Mirzoyan's social status has obviously improved over the years," the news outlet added.
