Azerbaijan again cuts off gas supply to Artsakh
Azerbaijan has again cut off the natural gas supply to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), Artsakh’s InforCenter reports, citing the local gas operator ArtsakhGas.
The only pipeline supplying gas from Armenia to Artsakh which passes through Azerbaijani-held territory was again blocked by Baku on Monday afternoon, it said in a statement.
Gas supplies to the country have been suspended, the gas operator said.
Azerbaijan has repeatedly disrupted the gas supply to Artsakh since December 12, when large groups of Azerbaijanis posing as eco-activists blocked of the Lachin Corridor, the sole road connecting Artsakh to Armenia and the outside world.
