Serzh Sargsyan speaks about Armenia's foreign policy during his presidency
Armenia’s third President Serzh Sargsyan, head of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), on Monday delivered a lecture on the country’s foreign policy and security architecture in 2008-2018 within the framework of the school of Civic Consciousness NGO.
In addition to the school students, the meeting was attended by experts and figures interested in Armenia's foreign policy, Sargsyan's office reported on Tuesday.
During the meeting, which lasted about four hours, Serzh Sargsyan touched on the concept of Armenia's foreign policy during his presidency.
Afterwards, in accordance with the meeting agenda, he presented to the attendees efforts aimed at the development of Armenia's relations with neighboring states, Armenian-Russian allied relations, as well as Armenia-EU, Armenian-U.S. relations. He also spoke about the Armenia-Turkey dialogue ("football" diplomacy).
The former president also answered the questions of the participants and experts.
