Expert: Creation of Armenian-Iranian civilization alliance 'widely discussed' in Iran
Iranian media and experts are widely discussing the creation of an Armenian-Iranian alliance of civilizations, says Iran expert Vardan Voskanyan, chair of Yerevan State University's Iranian studies department.
“The issue of Armenian-Iranian civilization alliance is widely discussed, among other things, in the media and among experts in Iran,” he wrote on Telegram on Saturday.
“Therefore, there is an enormous untapped potential that must be used,” the expert said, stressing “relations with Iran ensure several critical components of Armenia's security.”
