Yerevan to name three streets after famous artists
Three streets in Yerevan, Armenia, will be named after renowned artists, according to draft decisions put on the agenda of Tuesday’s meeting of the Yerevan City Council.
Two streets in the Arabkir administrative districts are proposed to be named after famous Soviet Armenian actress Svetlana Grigoryan and playwright Zhirayr Ananyan.
A street in the Nork-Marash district is to be named after Armenian soprano Lusine Zakaryan, known for her rendition of centuries-old Armenian spiritual hymns.
