Drivers warned of icy roads in parts of Armenia
Some roads are closed in Armenia as of Tuesday morning, the Rescue Service reports.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
The Aghvani-Tatev, Sisian-Zanger roadways, as well as roads in Aragatsotn Province are partly icy.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed to trucks.
Drivers are strongly urged to use winter tires.
