Pashinyan briefs OSCE chief on humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and OSCE Secretary General Helga Schmid held a meeting in Munich on Friday.
Pashinyan referred to the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh resulted by Azerbaijan's illegal closure of the Lachin Corridor and emphasized the need for continuous and consistent steps by the international community to solve the problem, the Armenian government said in its readout of the meeting.
“The parties touched on the activities of the civilian mission of the European Union in Armenia and expressed hope that it will contribute to the strengthening of peace and stability,” it said.
“The sides exchanged views on the processes taking place in the region and other issues of mutual interest,” the statement added.
