Stepantsminda-Larsi highway closed to trucks
Some roads are closed or difficult to pass in Armenia as of Saturday afternoon, the Rescue Service reports.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province are shut down.
Roadways of the Aragats region are partly icy.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is closed to trucks.
Drivers are strongly urged to use winter tires.
