Artsakh parliament holds special session
The Artsakh National Assembly on Monday convened an emergency session to adopt a statement on the 35th anniversary of the Karabakh movement.
Before debates of the agenda item, Speaker Artur Tovmasyan read out the congratulatory message on the movement anniversary and Artsakh Revival Day marked on February 20.
MP Artur Harutyunyan presented the draft statement entitled "On the 35th anniversary of the Karabakh movement, the national liberation struggle of Artsakh Armenians" which had been approved by the key parliament committee.
Chairman of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations Vahram Balayan delivered remarks on the matter.
The statement was adopted unanimously.
