Azerbaijani forces violate ceasefire in Artsakh
The Artsakh Defense Ministry reported a ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani troops on Tuesday.
"On February 21, the Azerbaijani armed forces violated the ceasefire in the northern and eastern parts of the line of contact, using small arms. No casualties were reported on the Armenian side,” the ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
The command of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh was informed about the incident, it said,
“Currently, the situation on the contact line is relatively stable,” the statement said.
Also, the military authorities in Artsakh denied Azerbaijan’s reports that Armenian forces opened fire at Azerbaijani combat positions in the occupied territories of the Shushi, Martuni and Karvachar regions as disinformation.
