Armenian health minister believes Amulsar mining safety will be ensured
Armenia’s Heath Minister Anahit Avanesyan is convinced all modern technologies will be used to ensure the safety of the Amulsar gold mine operations in line with all standards.
She stated that her ministry always keeps mining-related health hazards in the spotlight.
“We are confident that all new technologies and opportunities will be used to ensure safe operations in line with all standards,” Avanesyan told reporters on Thursday.
The Armenian government and Lydian Armenia signed a $250-million-dollar agreement to restart the gold mining project in the country. The government will receive a 12.5% stake in the project.
