14 injured, including 3 severely, after Armenian government bus crashes in Yerevan
Fourteen Armenian government employees have been injured and hospitalized after the bus carrying them was involved in an accident in Yerevan early on Tuesday.
One of them was discharged from hospital immediately after medical examination, while thirteen others, including the bus driver, continue treatment, the Ministry of Health said.
Three employees have been severely injured and are in intensive care. The health condition of nine victims is assessed as moderate, and one victim as satisfactory, it added.
Citing preliminary data, the Investigative Committee said the bus carrying the government employees collided with a BMW car and then crashed into a concrete guardrail on Monte Melkonian Avenue.
A probe into the accident is underway.
