Armenian expert: Full-scale war between Iran and Israel unlikely
The risk of a full-scale war between Israel and Iran is low at this point, Iran specialist Vardan Voskanyan claims.
“Given various reports about an all-out war between Israel and Iran, it should be noted that it is unlikely at this point,” he wrote on Telegram on Friday.
“There have always been small-scale attacks and hostilities, but now there are several major factors that almost rule out a full-scale war,” the expert said, pointing to Iran’s major military and technical progress.
He states the internal political situation and security in Israel is somewhat unstable.
“Israel’s main ally and sponsor, the United States, is seriously engaged in the Ukrainian conflict, which relatively limits its support for Tel Aviv,” Voskanyan said, adding there are other circumstances excluding a full-scale war between the two countries.
“However, it does not mean that, as it is the case with all conflicts, a large "fire" cannot erupt from an uncontrolled ‘spark’,” he added.
