Azerbaijani troops open fire at Armenian border positions
Azerbaijani troops opened fire at the Armenian border positions near the village of Verin Shorzha in a fresh ceasefire violation on Monday, the Defense Ministry reported.
“On March 13, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire from different caliber firearms towards the Armenian combat positions located near Verin Shorzha,” it said in a statement.
The Armenian military suffered no casualties.
“As of 10:00 p.m., the situation on the frontline is relatively stable,” the ministry added.
