Drivers warned over snow in Armenian region
Some roads in Armenia are closed to traffic as of Friday afternoon.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remain closed, the Rescue Service said.
Snowfall is reported in the Meghru Sar area in Syunik Province.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is open to all traffic.
