Fog hits Vardenyats Pass in Armenia
Some roads in Armenia are closed to traffic as of Saturday morning.
In particular, the roads linking the Amberd high mountain meteorological station to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari in Aragatsotn Province remain closed, the Rescue Service said.
Drivers are warned over foggy conditions in the Vardenyats Pass.
According to the Department of Emergency Situations of Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center (CMC) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Larsi highway connecting Armenia and Russia via Georgia is closed to trucks.
