Missing Armenian soldier found after search efforts
The Armenian soldier who went missing on Tuesday has been found safe after search and rescue efforts, the Defense Ministry reported.
“On March 22, Armenian army soldier M. G., who had been lost in the terrain delivering food to the outpost, was found as a result of the search and rescue operations,” it said in a statement.
“The serviceman's life is not in danger,” the ministry added.
Citing preliminary data, the military authorities said the soldier accidentally drove into the Azerbaijan-held territory due to low visibility and foggy weather on Tuesday afternoon.
