Spanish violinist María Dueñas to share a stage with Armenian Symphony Orchestra
Young Spanish violinist María Dueñas will perform with the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in Yerevan.
The concert will be held at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on April 4.
The program features Variations on a Theme by Joseph Haydn, Op.56a, and Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77, by Johannes Brahms, organizers said.
María was awarded the first prize and the audience prize in the Senior Division of the Menuhin Competition Richmond 2021.
She signed an exclusive contract with Deutsche Grammophon in September 2022 and will open her DG discography with Beethoven's Violin Concerto.
