Russian peacekeepers report ceasefire violation in Artsakh
Russian peacekeepers are investigating a ceasefire violation in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the Russian Defense Ministry said in a bulletin on the activities of the Russian peacekeeping contingent in the conflict zone.
"One violation of the ceasefire regime has been recorded in the Martuni region. There were no casualties. The Russian peacekeeping forces are investigating the incident," the ministry said in a statement late on Sunday.
Earlier on Sunday, the Artsakh authorities said four farmers came under Azerbaijani fire while carrying out agricultural work in the villages of Sos and Taghavard.
They were unhurt, but the agricultural work had to be suspended.
